If I were…

If I were in America in 1776,
I would have been a loyalist. I don’t believe the declaration of independence was a good enough reason to declare independence from the British government. See Romans 13, and let me know if you think it’s okay to do that.
If I were in America in 1865,
I would have been a Confederate. But wait… how’s it okay for the south to revolt against the north but not the british?
John Calvin would call it the law of interposition.
The Revolution was started by citizens who have NO right to throw of their government. The Civil War was started by elected officials. So when you’re immediate govt. revolts against the higher government, it is up to each citizen to see where his loyalties are.
btw. really look at lincoln and see what he did. HE SUSPENDED THE CONSTITUTION. he assumed full control… when someone who our govt doesn’t like does that, we call it a dictatorship, but when ol’ Honest Abe does it, we call it “Savior of the Union.”
The following is a list of terrible presidents, who if Maryland had ever revolted against, i would have joined in:
Lincoln
Hoover
Wilson
Roosevelt
Truman
Nixon
LBJ
Carter
ReaganĀ
Bush
Clinton
Bush jr.
… this blog alone is enough to disqualify from every being president.
why?
because it’s critical and honest
